System Warranty

This limited warranty is provided by Upright Water Co to the original purchaser. The periods below and the conditions on this page describe the warranty terms for the covered system.

What is covered

Lifetime

System dry parts

Mechanical and non-consumable components that do not come into direct contact with water.

5 years

Control valve, circuit board and filtration media

Coverage for defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions.

1 year

Labor

Labor-related issues arising from the original installation, for one year from the date of purchase.

Requirements

Conditions and limits

This warranty applies only when the system is installed, operated and maintained according to Upright Water Co guidelines.
It does not cover damage from improper installation, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, flooding, freezing, or contaminant levels beyond system specifications.
Replacement parts or service under warranty do not extend or reset the original warranty period.
This warranty is the exclusive remedy and replaces other express or implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Upright Water Co is responsible for damages or failures caused by workmanship-related issues, but not damages caused by manufacturer defects.
Total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the system. Incidental, consequential and indirect damages are excluded.

Coverage by component

Control valves: 5 years
Storage tanks: Lifetime
Media tanks: Lifetime
Ceramic discs (rotary valves): Lifetime
Reverse osmosis systems: 1 year
Filtration media: 5 years

Replacement parts are covered only for the remainder of the original period and must be installed by an Upright-approved technician. Labor for component replacement is not included.

Exclusions

What is not covered

Misuse, abuse, neglect or accidents.
Improper installation or unauthorized repairs.
Acts of nature.
Water conditions that foul filters, resins or membranes.

Making a claim

How to request warranty service

Contact Upright Water Co through the free-water-test form. Include proof of purchase and installation documentation. A claim also requires a return authorization from Upright Water Co.

Keep your purchase and installation records with your system documents so they are available if you need them.
