Ongoing support
Annual Water System Service in Weatherford, TX
Water treatment needs care after installation, not just attention on the day it arrives. Upright Water Co offers annual service, filter care and ongoing support for the system in your home.
Care matched to the equipment
Keep the system guidelines and tell us what has changed.
Sediment pre-filter care
Check the cartridge and system settings
Sediment pre-filter cartridges are rated for about 10,000 gallons. We check filters, salt and settings, replace filters as needed, top up salt and adjust settings as appropriate for the system. The cartridge rating is a care reference, not a reason to ignore a change in your water.
Keep the salt check about every 2–3 months as a general guide, and plan for yearly RO filter care. Follow the instructions for the equipment installed in your home.
Why plan ahead
Give everyday care a clear place in the plan
A filter or softener becomes part of a home’s routine. It is easy to forget about it when water is flowing normally, but filters and softening equipment still need attention. A useful care plan explains what you can check, what needs service and where to find the instructions. It should fit the actual equipment, not a vague promise that the system looks after itself.
Upright Water Co offers annual service and filter care. When you ask for support, tell us which system is installed and what you have noticed. Have the equipment documents available if you can. A change in taste, new scale or an unfamiliar sound is worth describing even if the calendar says the next visit is not due yet.
Softener routine
Keep an eye on the salt tank
For a salt-based system, checking the brine tank is part of routine care. As a general guide, salt may need topping up about every 2–3 months. This is not a fixed interval for every home: household use and the system’s setup affect the pace. Follow the system guidelines and check the tank rather than relying only on a date.
The Upright Whole-Home Softener + Carbon System combines softening and carbon in one mixed-bed tank, with a separate brine tank for regeneration. Salt supports the softening part of the system. It does not replace care for the carbon media or other equipment. Ask us to explain which instructions apply to each part so a salt check is not mistaken for complete maintenance.
Kitchen drinking water
Plan for yearly RO filter care
Under-sink reverse osmosis has its own care needs. Plan for yearly RO filter care as a general guide, while following the actual schedule for the selected system and your water. Filter and membrane needs are not identical. The equipment instructions should guide replacements rather than assuming every part is changed at the same visit.
Keep enough space under the sink to reach the filters. Tell us if water use, taste or the amount of room available has changed. If the system has an alkaline option, include it in the equipment information you share. A clear record of what is installed makes it easier to discuss the right care without guessing from the faucet alone.
Different equipment
Care is not the same for every solution
A salt-free conditioner does not have the same salt routine as a true softener. Well-focused treatment may have several stages with different needs. UV requires its own operating instructions. These differences matter, so an annual service discussion starts with the equipment and the water it treats. We do not apply a single replacement rule to every tank or filter.
Private-well owners should continue water testing as well as equipment care. The EPA recommends yearly testing for total coliform bacteria, nitrates, TDS and pH. Servicing treatment equipment is not a substitute for certified lab testing when that testing is needed. Keep both types of records so future treatment decisions have useful context.
Request support
Tell us what is installed and what you need
Use the form to ask about annual service or filter care. Include the type of system, the reason for your request and anything that has changed. Do not send sensitive personal documents through an ordinary message. We can discuss the relevant equipment records when arranging the next step.
If you are starting from scratch, our free in-home water test checks hardness, chlorine and TDS. We come to you and there is no obligation to buy. If a system is already installed, explain that on the form so the conversation starts with the right context. Care and a new-system recommendation are different requests, and we want to understand which one you are making.
